🔎 What Does our Murder at the Mansion Package Include?
What Happens on the Evening?
4:30pm - Mixologist arrival: Please let your mixologist in and show them where you'd like your drinks to be served. They will need 30-minutes for set up
5:00pm - Pre-Dinner Cocktails: Before the story begins, enjoy two hours of expertly crafted cocktails from a professional mixologist. Choose a menu of 4 cocktails from over 60 recipes and let us tailor the service to your event - from a fully inclusive cocktail package to a dedicated bartender. All glassware, equipment, alcohol, and ingredients are provided for four cocktails per person. We can add Canapés to your pre-dinner drinks for an extra +£15pp.
5.30pm-6:00pm - Private Chef, Staffing and Actors arrive. Please ensure that the kitchen is clean and tidy for the team. Please also show your actors to a room where they can get dressed!
7pm - 10pm - The Murder Mystery Dinner Party
Your night begins with intrigue as our professional actors bring a tailor-made murder mystery to life. Two hosts will lead the evening, while guests receive character roles and scripts in advance so they can join the action.
The story unfolds in between each course that your chef prepares, with plenty of clever twists, playful humour (you can choose between Adult or PG levels of humour), and moments that will have everyone talking. Engaging Plot, Hilarious Twists: Prepare for an ingenious plotline filled with twists, turns, and plenty of laughs. Guests will become part of the story, embodying their characters as they unravel the mystery.
A talented private chef will prepare a fully bespoke menu. Choose two starters, two mains (plus a vegetarian or vegan option if required), and two desserts to suit your group’s tastes. Everything is included - chef hire, all ingredients, and full clean-up - so you can simply relax and enjoy. Please see the evening timeline:
7:20 pm: Meet and greet
7:30pm: Scene 1 start
7:50 pm: Starter served
8:20 pm: Scene 2 is performed
8:50 pm: Main course served
9:20 pm: Scene 3 is performed
9:45 pm: Dessert / The Killers Confession!

Costumes
This isn’t compulsory for guests, but we think that It adds to the fun if participants are dressed in costume! If you do wish to come dressed in costume:

We think it’s more fun if guests use their imaginations, so we don’t provide any specific guidance or images.

However, the nature of the characters should help (for example, a vicar, cook, maid, gardener etc).

Please note that we don’t provide any costumes for guests, but the hosts will come dressed appropriately.
What Happens Before the Event?
Once you've secured your date with the deposit above, your event planner will be in touch to discuss the finer details. Shortly after you will receive a confirmation email with your supplier contact information.
Our expert Murder Mystery team will be in touch to discuss theme choices for the Murder Mystery evening and they will send over character profiles for you to assign to your guests. You can share these via email or Whatsapp or print & posts to your guests! Your character profiles will include details of the character, such as their background story, any accents, outfit and possibly some clues...
The event planner will also send over a cocktail menu with over 60 drink choices, you will need to select 4 from the list, we will also need to know of the number of non-drinkers! Our mixologist can make any of the drinks non-alcoholic.
Your private chef will be in touch closer to the date. They'll share a seasonal sample menu, guide you on menu choices and request any dietary requirements or special requests.
